With the vigorous development of China's new energy vehicles, related supporting industries are also constantly improving. For example, 70% of the world's lithium batteries are now produced in China, making it absolutely far ahead and number one in the world.

According to CCTV, in the 1990s, Japan took the lead in gaining technological advantages and rapidly advancing the industrialization process with its breakthrough in the field of lithium-ion batteries based on liquid electrolytes.

In the face of this emerging technology field, the Chinese scientific research team did not lag behind. In 1998, Chen Liquan's team took the lead in China and successfully promoted the construction of China's first pilot production line for liquid lithium batteries, laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale mass production.

Since 2019, the influence of Chinese lithium battery manufacturers in the global market has continued to expand, and the overall market share has been on an upward trend, directly compressing the global market share of traditional lithium battery powers such as South Korea and Japan.

In the first 11 months of last year, among the top 10 companies in the world in terms of installed capacity of power batteries, Chinese companies occupied 6 seats, namely CATL, BYD, Sinovation, Guoxuan High-tech, EVE Energy and Farasis Energy. The total market share of these 6 companies was as high as 63.7%.

So far, China's liquid lithium battery industry has achieved a leapfrog development from scratch and from small to large. According to statistics, more than 70% of the world's lithium batteries are produced in China, and now it has taken a leading position in the global market.
